Presents Author John Stover

Author of several books, including The Love Rescue Me Trilogy, Common Cents, In-Sight and The Road Runner.

Mr. Stover will hold a reading / signing from several of his works.

Mr. Stover wrote The Love Rescue Me Trilogy; Love Hurts, Love Scars and Love Is All You Need two hours at a time on the Los Angeles Central Library’s public computers while Mr. Stover was a resident at the Midnight Mission.

The author ended up at the Midnight Mission following a debilitating accident where the author lost everything he owned. John subsequently spent twenty months on Skid Row in the mission system.

The Love Rescue Me Trilogy, a Love story for our times, is set over a thirty-five year time span. The story introduces the reader to Jack St. Clair and the love of his life, Diane Dante. The story chronicles the anti-war days of the early 70's, visits the wild days and nights of a successful clothing business and explores the burgeoning LA Rock and Roll scene of the 70’s and 80’s.

The main character’s seemingly charmed life ends suddenly after he is in the North Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11.

Finally, Jack St. Clair and his long lost love Diane Dante, are reunited while Jack is a resident at a downtown Skid Row mission.    Q & A to follow.
